Petitioners have filed this petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 seeking a direction to the respondents to transfer the case to Crime Branch and to complete the investigation in FIR No. 6 dated 8.1.2014, under Section 328, 302 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, registered at Police Station Ghanaur, District Sonipat (Annexure P-1).
Learned State counsel, who is instructed by Sub Inspector Neeraj, has submitted that after thorough investigation of the case, untraced report has been prepared and the same will be presented in the Court within four weeks from today.
In these circumstances, no further interference by this Court is called for. Petitioners, if so advised, can challenge the untraced report by filing a protest petition.
Petition stands disposed of accordingly.
