Learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the petition with the submission that after the filing of ejectment petition in May, 2012, a period of two and half years has elapsed and now the case has been sent back to the Rent Controller on technical grounds. He seeks direction to the Rent Controller to dispose of the ejectment petition expeditiously.
The request of counsel for the petitioner is accepted. The petition is dismissed as withdrawn. The Rent Controller will expedite the disposal of the petition and dispose of the same preferably within nine months.
