This petition was filed in this Court on 18.08.1998. The bare perusal of the record would reveal that nemo had appeared on behalf of the petitioner on 09.10.2002, when this petition was listed for hearing. Consequently, the petition was fixed for today for arguments.
Today again, nobody is appearing on behalf of the petitioner despite repeated calls.
From the sequence of events narrated here-in-above, it appears that neither the petitioner nor its counsel is interested in pursuing the petition. Therefore, no option is left with this Court except to dismiss the petition for non-prosecution.
Accordingly, the present petition is dismissed for non-
prosecution.
