Learned counsel for the petitioners states that during the pendency of the writ petition, the civil suit, which was filed on 18.01.1990 by some of the petitioners for permanent injunction restraining the Municipal Committee from dispossessing the plaintiffs-petitioners from the property in dispute, was decreed by the trial court on 12.05.1993 and was affirmed by the appellate court on 06.09.1994.
