Shingara Singh and Anr. Vs State of Haryana and Ors.

This writ petition has been filed with a prayer to quash resolution dated 4.6.2009 (P-1) and resolution dated 6.6.2011 (P-2) vide which the Gram Panchayat has decided to carve out plots measuring 100 square yards each, for the purpose of allotting the same to land-less families of the village, as per scheme launched by the Government, known as Mahatma Gandhi Gramin Basti Yojna.

Be that as it may, if the above resolutions are contrary to the provisions of the Act or law or infringes any right of the right-holders, the petitioners may challenge the same before the competent authority to quash the resolutions or may raise question of title before the competent
