Petitioner has sought issuance of writ of mandamus for implementation of the scheme of Government of India dated 31.12.2008, inter alia, providing for enhancement of age of superannuation of the teachers to 65 years. Similar petitions filed by similarly circumstanced employees of the Department of Kurukshetra University etc. have been dismissed. The matter is covered by the judgment of Hon'ble the Apex Court in Jagdish Parshad and others Vs. State of Bihar and others, Civil Appeal No.5543 of 2013 decided on 17.7.2013 and in CWP No.20646 of 2011 titled KRM DAV College, Nakodar Vs. State of Punjab and another decided on 6.8.2013.
Counsel for the petitioner submits that in view of

other connected matters having been decided, this petition be disposed of in similar terms.
Counsel for the respondents have also got no objection to the disposal of the writ petition in accordance with the orders passed in the case KRM DAV College, Nakodar (supra) .
The misc. application No.11746-CWP-2013 is accordingly allowed and the main case CWP No.11448 of 2012 is revived for hearing today.
In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of in similar terms as order passed in case KRM DAV College,
Nakodar (supra).
