This is a petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for quashing the FIR No.385 dated 1.11.2007, under Sections 354, 506, 509 and 510 IPC, registered at Police Station Division No.6, Jalandhar, District Jalandhar and all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom on the basis of compromise (Annexure P-2).
The report of the trial Court has been received in which it is mentioned that the complainant has entered into a compromise with the petitioner.
Complainant-Surjit Kaur is present in person. She has stated at the bar that the matter has been compromised. The matter involved is personal in nature.
So, in view of the above circumstances, and in

view of the authority reported as “ Kulwinder Singh and others Vs. State of Punjab and others” 2007 (3) RCR (Criminal) 1052, the aforesaid FIR stands quashed. Further proceedings in pursuant to that FIR also stands quashed.
