Petitioner-Gurjeet Singh @ Guddu son of Tarsem Lal, has preferred the instant 3rd petition for the grant of regular bail in a case registered against him along with his other co-accused, by virtue of FIR No.202 dated 07.11.2009, for the commission of offences punishable under Sections 302, 307, 148 and 149 IPC, by the police of Police Station Salem Tabri, Ludhiana, invoking the provisions of Section 439 Cr.P.C.
As is evident from the record that, the earlier petition for the grant of regular bail bearing CRM No.M-27296 of 2010 filed by the petitioner, was dismissed on merits by this Court, by means of order dated September 16, 2010. Not only that, the 2nd petition for the grant of bail bearing CRM No.M-19222 of 2011 was dismissed by a Coordinate Bench of this Court (Rajesh Bindal, J.) vide order dated 06.07.2011, which is as under:-

“The petitioner in the present case is main accused. In the FIR, he has been attributed fatal injury to the deceased.
Considering the seriousness of allegations, I do not find any reason to grant bail to the petition pending trial.
Dismissed.”
Taking into consideration the fact that, the petitioner is the main accused and he caused fatal injuries with iron rod, culminating into the death of Kanwarpal Singh and since, the earlier petitions for the grant of bail filed by the petitioner, have already been dismissed by this Court, so, no fresh ground, much less cogent, to entertain the 3rd petition for regular bail is made out. Therefore, the instant petition is hereby dismissed as such.
