While issuing notice of motion, the Court had recorded the stand of the petitioner as under:

“Learned counsel submits that though the petitioner was to appear before the Juvenile Justice Board on 7.8.2012 yet an application was filed for exemption from personal appearance. The said application was rejected and non-bailable warrants issued against the petitioner. Apprehending his arrest, the petitioner moved an application for the grant of anticipatory bail but the same has been dismissed by Additional Sessions Judge, Ludhiana vide order dated 25.4.2013. It is submitted that the petitioner is ready and willing to join the enquiry pending before the Juvenile Justice Board.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that pursuant to the order dated 5.8.2013, the petitioner had surrendered before the Juvenile Justice Board and was admitted to ad-interim bail on his father's furnishing adequate bonds to the satisfaction of the Board.

Learned State counsel has not disputed this fact that the petitioner has surrendered before the Juvenile Justice Board and stands admitted on ad-interim bail.

In view of the above, the petition is allowed. The petitioner shall remain on bail, during the pendency of the enquiry before the Juvenile Justice Board, on his father's furnishing fresh bail bonds to the satisfaction of the said Board.
