Coram: Hon'ble Mr. Justice K.C. Puri
Present: Sh. H.S. Batth, Advocate for the petitioner
K.C. Puri, J.
As per allegation, petitioner gave kirpan blow on the right elbow of the complainant, which injury was declared grievous in nature, falling within the ambit of Section 326 IPC. There are allegations of offence under Section 3 (x) of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989 and Section 18 of the Act bars the grant of anticipatory bail.
So no ground for grant of anticipatory bail is made out.
Consequently, the petition stands dismissed.
