Instant petition has been filed seeking protection of life and liberty of the petitioners from respondents No.4 to 9. The petitioners assert that they are major and as there is no legal impediment, they have got married. They have already moved a representation dated 18.04.2013 (Annexure P-5) to respondent No.2-Commissioner of Police, Ludhiana, for protecting their life and liberty.
On 22.04.2013, the following order was passed by this Court:
“ Learned counsel for the petitioners contends that the petitioners seek protection of their life and liberty at the

hands of respondent Nos.4 to 9. Petitioner no.2, present in Court, to show his bona fide, has sworn an affidavit to the effect that he will deposit a sum of Rs.1.00 lacs in the form of FDRs in favour of petitioner no.1 and shall produce the same before this Court on 26.4.2013.
Notice of motion to the Advocate General, Punjab and other respondents, for 26.4.2013.
In the meantime, liberty is granted to the petitioners to approach respondent no.2-Commissioner of Police, Ludhiana for protection, as per instructions dated 18.08.2010 issued by the Home Department, Punjab. Petitioners may not be arrested and adequate security be provided to them, if required.”
Learned counsel for the petitioners states that in compliance of order dated 22.04.2013, petitioner no.2 has deposited the entire amount i.e. ` 1 lac in the form of FDR for one year in favour of petitioner no.1. A photocopy of receipt, filed in Court, is taken on record.
Keeping in view the above, the instant petition is disposed of and order dated 22.04.2013 is made absolute.
Petitioner no.2 is directed to get the FDR extended for three years. Registry is directed to inform the concerned bank not to release the aforesaid amount before expiry of three years.
