Present petition has been filed under Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure for grant of regular bail to the petitioner in case FIR No. 13 dated 05.03.2012, under Section 15 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985, registered at Police Station Fatehgarh Panjtoor, District Moga.
Learned counsel for the petitioner states that he does not press the present petition, however, prays that keeping in view the fact that the petitioner is behind the bars since long, the Trial Court may be directed to expedite the trial.
As prayed, present petition is dismissed as not pressed. However, Trial Court is directed to expedite the trial.
