This is tenant's petition challenging the order dated 30.05.2013 of the Rent Controller, Mohali, whereby, provisional rent was assessed against the petitioner and he was directed to pay the rent on or before 25th July, 2013. Petitioner has further challenged the order dated 25.07.2013 of the Appellate Authority vide which petitioner's appeal against the aforesaid order of assessment provisional rent of the demised premises was dismissed.
This petition was originally filed on 02.08.2013. However, the registry has raised certain objections and was re-filed on 06.08.2013.
Counsel for the petitioner states that eviction order has already been passed against the petitioner-tenant on 03.08.2013 and in view thereof, the instant petition does not survive.
Ordered accordingly.
