In view of the undertaking given in the affidavit dated August 22, 2013 submitted by the Chairman-cum-Managing Director, Punjab State Power Corporation Limited that the pay scales of Rs.2000-3500/- instead of Rs.1800-3200/- w.e.f. January 1, 1986 equal to the pay scale to Head Clerk has been granted to the petitioners vide order dated August 21, 2013 passed by Chief Auditor, Punjab State Power Corporation Limited and that the Department is taking steps to release the arrears due to the petitioners as per

the directions of the Hon’ble Supreme Court, this petition appears to have become infructuous having out-lived its utility. Petition is disposed of as having been rendered infructuous at this stage without prejudice to the rights of the petitioners to approach this Court again in case the order of the Single Bench confirmed uptill Supreme Court is not complied with within the period of one month as per the directions of the Apex Court in SLP (C) No. 35109-35112 of 2012.
