8,000/- as sworn to by an employer. There cannot be reliance on a sworn of affidavit of a person if he cannot support his sworn statement by certificate. Even a certificate cannot be taken itself as evidence unless it is supported by the person, who issues the same. If the Tribunal was, therefore, taking the income at 4604/- and provided only 1/3rd deduction even though the decision of Supreme Court in Sarla Verma Vs. DTC 2009(6) SCC 121 allows for a 50% deduction for a person, who was bachelor and adopted a multiplier of 18 dependent on the age of deceased and not-2-

merely on the age of parents then the Tribunal was applying every formula favourable to the claimants and the overall compensation determined at ` 6,82,904/- is more than appropriate and just. I will not find any reason to interfere with the same.
