Petitioners contend that they are working on the technical posts and are entitled to the technical pay scale of Rs. 1200-2040 w.e.f. 01.05.1990 and thereafter, the revised pay scales. Further contention of the petitioners is that their claim is covered by the judgments of this Court in CWP No. 18754 of 1991 titled as Gurdev Singh and others vs. State of Haryana and others , decided on 18.01.2010 (Annexure P-2) and CWP No. 5665 of 1991 titled as Ved Parkash and others vs. State of Haryana and anothe r, decided on

11.05.2010 (Annexure P-3). Claiming the said benefit, petitioners have made a representation dated 14.09.2011 (Annexure P-6) to the Superintending Engineer (Electrical), Circle Karnal, Kunjpura Road, District Karnal-respondent No. 3 as well as to others but till date no decision thereon has been conveyed to the petitioners.

Counsel contends that the petitioners at this stage would be satisfied if a direction is issued to the Superintending Engineer (Electrical), Circle Karnal, Kunjpura Road, District Karnal-respondent No. 3 to consider and decide the representation dated 14.09.2011 (Annexure P-6) within some specified time. Counsel for the respondents have no objection to the prayer made by the counsel for the petitioners.

In view of the above, without going into the merits of the case or commenting thereon, the present petition is disposed of with directions to the Superintending Engineer (Electrical), Circle Karnal, Kunjpura Road, District Karnal-respondent No. 3 to consider and decide the representation dated 14.09.2011 (Annexure P-6) within a period of three months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. The decision so taken be conveyed to the petitioners forthwith. In case the petitioners are held entitled to the claim made by them through their representation, the consequential benefits, if any, be released to them, in accordance with law, within a further period of two months.
