This order shall dispose of Civil Writ Petition Nos. 22224, 23049 and 23050 of 2011 as identical facts are involved therein. For brevity, the facts are being taken from CWP No.22224 of 2011.

Upon notice, learned Senior Standing Counsel for respondent-Union Territory, Chandigarh has produced a copy of the letter dated 06.02.2012 issued by the Secretary, State Transport Authority, Union Territory, Chandigarh wherein it has been stated that the Chandigarh Administration has decided that all cases where the approval of the Government testing agency is there and the model number is clearly mentioned, the same shall be considered, provided all the necessary documents are available. It is further mentioned therein that the present condition of the model being approved in the states of Punjab and Haryana is being done away with.
