The present writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking directions to the respondents to grant four weeks' parole to the petitioner for attending last rites of his father.
Learned counsel for the respondents has filed a reply by way of an affidavit of Shishu Pal Singh, Superintendent, District Jail, Bhiwani. The same is taken on record. It is stated therein that the petitioner has been granted one week parole to enable him to attend Rasam Pagri/Terhavi of his father.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in view of the

reply filed by learned counsel for the respondents, the present petition has been rendered infructuous and the same be disposed of as such.
