“The only prayer made in the petition is for issuing direction to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner. The counsel was apprised that this petition can be disposed of by giving an appropriate direction to the police to look into the matter. The counsel insisted on adjournment, for which a written request is made.”
This petition is, accordingly, disposed of with direction to
S.P. Head Quarters, Hoshiarpur to consider the grievance of the
petitioner and take action in accordance with law.
