The present petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is for issuance of direction to respondent no.2 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners at the hands of private respondent.

Learned counsel for the petitioners states that the petitioners will be satisfied if Senior Superintendent of Police, Jalandhar, is directed to take appropriate action, in accordance with law, on application, dated 8.8.2012, Annexure P6, already made to him by the petitioners.

As per averments made in the petition both the petitioners are major. Date of birth of petitioner no.1-Rupinder Kaur, as per copy of Matriculation Examination Certificate, Annexure P1, is 6.7.1992, and date of birth of petitioner No.2- Gagandeep Singh, as per copy of passport,

Annexure P2, is 20.2.1991. They got married today, i.e., 8.8.2012, as per marriage certificate, Annexure P3. Photographs of the marriage are Annexures P4 and P5.

In view of the limited prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioners and without going into the merits of the claim raised by the petitioners, this petition is disposed of with direction to Senior Superintendent of Police, Jalandhar, to take appropriate action, in accordance with law, on application, dated 8.8.2012, Annexure P6, already stated to have been moved to him by the petitioners.
