Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was driver of the vehicle No. PB-17 A-0065 and the 300 grms heorine is made from Harpal Singh, who was the owner of the vehicle. No recovery is effected from the petitioner.

has informed the Court that after framing of the charges, the trial Court is at the final stage and has not controverted the aforesaid factual position.

Keeping in view the period of incarceration of the petitioner and the fact that trial may still take some time to conclude, this court feels

that there is no need to detain the petitioner any longer. Accordingly, the petition is allowed and the petitioner is ordered to be enlarged on bail to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate/ Duty Magistrate, Amritsar.
