The present petition filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C. is for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.23, dated 8.4.2012, under Section 308 IPC, registered at Police Station Sangat, District Bathinda, Annexure P1.
I have heard learned counsel for the petitioner and have gone through the whole record carefully, including the impugned order passed by learned Additional Sessions Judge, Bathinda, vide which application filed on behalf of the present petitioner for anticipatory bail was dismissed.
Briefly stated there was dispute between petitioner and complainant regarding settlement of account and when complainant demanded his money, petitioner gave spade blow on his head, to which complainant fell down and sustained injury on his right eye-brow. Board of

Medical officers was constituted, who declared the injury caused by petitioner to complainant as dangerous to life.
Hence, in view of these facts, it is not such a case in which extraordinary relief of anticipatory bail should be granted to the petitioneraccused.
Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the present petition filed by petitioner-Ravinder Singh Bhaau for grant of anticipatory bail is, hereby, dismissed being devoid of any merit.
