The present petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for issuance of direction to respondent No.1 to hand over the investigation to A.D.G.P. Crime Branch, Chandigarh or any independent agency in FIR No.226 dated 3.11.2011 under Sections 307,379,506,148,149 IPC and Section 25,27 of Arms Act (lateron the offence under Section 302 IPC was added), Police Station Sahnewal, District Ludhiana.

It is contended that FIR was registered way back on 3.11.2011 but till date the respondents have not taken any action on the same.

In view of the above, there is no ground to hand over the investigation to any other investigating agency. However, taking into account that the FIR was registered way back on 3.11.2011, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to the Investigating
