Dhanaula. On 22.3.1991, at about 4 P.M, he and his brotherin-law were present in the farm house, in the area of Dhanaula, where, six sikh youths came, in a maruti van, bearing No. PCC 366. The van was being driven by a Sikh youth, who kept waiting inside the same. His companions came to the farm house, and asked Jeena Akhtar, to accompany them. Jeena Akhtar wife of Jagdish Singh refused to accompany them, as a result whereof, they told her that she was to be produced before Baba Bir Singh in Jahangir Gurdwara, where, he used to hold Darbar. Jeena Aakhtar tried to run away, but she was caught hold of her arm by one of those person. Jagdish Singh and his brother-in-law Hakam Singh tried to intervene, whereupon, those persons threatened that they belongs to Ranjwar militant organisation and Bana Bir Singh directed them to produce Jeena Akhtar, before him. They further declared that in case, anybody objected, he would be killed. Thereafter, Jeena Akhtar was abducted by those persons. They forced her to sit in the van and drove the same towards Dhanaula. On the statement of Jagdish Singh, the First Information Report was recorded.”
