The petitioner appears to have an axe to grind against Rohi Ram, Deputy Director, Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes Welfare Department, Punjab. The petitioner is said to have made certain complainants against the said officer. Since no action is alleged to have been taken, the petitioner has approached this Court seeking a mandamus to direct the official respondents to take appropriate action on his complaints.
Having heard learned counsel for the petitioner and without expressing any views on the allegations made by the petitioner against Rohi Ram especially when the said Rohi Ram has not been impleaded as a

party-respondent and no order adverse to his interest can be passed at his back, I deem it appropriate to dispose of this writ petition with a direction to respondent Nos.1 & 2 to take a decision on the complaints made by the petitioner and communicate the same to him within a period of three months from the date of receiving a certified copy of this order. However, this direction shall not be construed to mean as if this Court has accepted the allegations made by the petitioner against Rohi Ram. Needless to say that the authorities shall take an appropriate decision objectively and in accordance with law.
Ordered accordingly.
