The petitioner who is an Ex-serviceman, was a candidate for the post of Lecturer-in-Mechanical Engineering. The petitioner having not been selected against the post reserved for Ex-serviceman category that he has approached this Court.
The respondents have categorically averred that only two candidates, i.e., the petitioner and one Sukhdeep Singh were called for interview but “the petitioner alone appeared and he was not found suitable”.
The petitioner has not attributed any motive to the members of the Selection Committee nor the material on record created doubts on the

transparency of the selection process.
No interference with the impugned selection is thus called for by this Court except to observe that the post reserved for Ex-serviceman category may be re-advertised at the earliest to enable the petitioner and other suitable candidates to apply and compete again.
Ordered accordingly.
