The petitioner, who is serving as Secretary, Market Committee, Balachaur, is aggrieved by his transfer from Balachaur to Shri Anandpur Sahib. The petitioner is continuing at the original place of his posting, i.e., Balachaur, in terms of the order dated 7.9.2009 passed by this Court.
During the pendency of this writ petition, the petitioner is said to have been caught red handed while taking bribe and in this regard an FIR has been registered against him followed by his suspension vide order dated 14.1.2011.
In these circumstances, it is not desirable or expedient for this Court to interfere with the transfer of the petitioner in the larger public interest.
Dismissed.
