1 This Civil Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari quashing order dated 10.12.2007 (Annexure P-11), whereby the claim of the petitioner for fixing the price of shamlat land, which is in possession of the petitioner, and for allowing sale of the said land in favour of the petitioner, has been rejected.
2 Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that in terms of policy dated 16.10.2000 (Annexure P-4), framed by the the State of Haryana, the petitioner is entitled to purchase the land on which the petitioner has been in possession, although without any right.
3 I have considered the contention of the learned counsel for the

petitioner.
4 Learned counsel for the petitioner admits that the case of the petitioner would be covered against the petitioner in view of decision dated 28.1.2011, rendered by the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India in case titled 'Jagpal Singh and others v. State of Punjab and others' in Civil Appeal No. 1132 of 2011@ SLP (C) No.3109 of 2011 (arising out of Special Leave Petition (Civil) No.19869 of 2010).
5 In view of the above, the petition is dismissed.
