In view of the nature of order which I propose to pass, there is no need to seek any counter reply from the respondents at this stage.
The petitioners who are retired/serving S.S.Masters/Mistress/ JBT Teachers/Drawing-Science Teachers/Mistresses in the Education Department, Government of Punjab, seek a mandamus to direct the respondents to take into consideration the service rendered by them in the Government Aided Privately Managed Schools as qualifying service for the

purpose of pensionary benefits on their retirement from the Government service.
During the course of hearing, learned counsel for the parties are ad-idem that the controversy involved in this case stands settled by a decision dated 10.3.2010 rendered by this Court in CWP No.14238 of 1991 (Sukhdev Singh and others versus State of Punjab and others).
The present writ petition is accordingly allowed in terms of the
afore-stated order dated 10.3.2010 passed in Sukhdev Singh's case
(supra).
