The petitioner – Transport Cooperative Society seeks a direction to the Police Authorities of District Sangrur to take action against respondents NO. 6 to 17 who are the President and other office bearers and members of the Truck Operators Union, Moonak – respondent NO.17 as they are allegedly obstructing in the day to day lawful business activities of the petitioner Society.
The official respondents have filed reply/affidavit to the effect that the matter has been inquired into and the rival groups have allegedly compromised.
Be that as it may, the writ petition is disposed of by making the interim directions issued vide order dated 12.07.2010 absolute.
