The petitioner, who is a retired S.S.Mistress from the Education Department, Government of Punjab, seeks a mandamus to count the service rendered by her in the Government Aided Private School towards 'qualifying service' for the purpose of pensionary benefits.

During the course of hearing, learned counsel for the parties are ad-idem that the controversy involved in this case stands settled by a decision dated 10.3.2010 rendered by this Court in Civil Writ Petition No.14238 of 1991 (Sukhdev Singh and others versus State of Punjab and others) (Annexure P-4).
The present writ petition is accordingly disposed of in terms of the afore-stated order dated 10.3.2010 passed in Sukhdev Singh's case ( supra).
