The petitioner/accused—Jagjit Singh alias Jagga son of Harnek Singh, has filed this petition under Section 438 of the Criminal Procedure Code for grant of anticipatory bail in FIR No. 20 dated 13.2.2011 registered under Section 420, 467, 468, 471/120B IPC in Police Station Jamalpur, Ludhiana. He was granted interim anticipatory bail by this Court, vide order dated 1.11.2011.
It has been submitted by the learned State counsel that in pursuance of that order the petitioner has joined the investigation and is no more required for further investigation.
Under these circumstances, the order dated 1.11.2011 is hereby made absolute, subject to the conditions incorporated therein.
The petition is disposed of accordingly.
