Prayer in this petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is for directing responds No. 2 & 3 to take appropriate legal action against respondents No. 4 to 8, since even after the complaint (Annexure P- 1) of petitioner to the Police Commissioner, Amritsar, no action has been taken.
The petitioner alleges in the application that she was married on 7.12.2009. Her husband, in-laws and his family members are demanding dowry, giving beatings and threatening to kill her.
Ends of justice would be met if a direction is given to the Commissioner of Police, Amritsar to take appropriate action in the representation Annexure P-1 moved by the petitioner within three weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. Ordered accordingly.
