This is an application seeking anticipatory bail in case FIR No.24 dated 17.4.2010 under Sections 324/506/148/149 and 307 (added later on) IPC, P.S. Ghanaur, District Patiala.
Undisputedly, initially case was registered against the petitioner under Section 324/506/148/149 IPC, thereafter he was released on bail by the Arresting Officer/Investigating Officer in terms of Section 436 Cr. P.C. However, thereafter petitioner was found involved in an

offence punishable under Section 307 IPC, hence Section 307 IPC was added in the present case.
In the present matter, undisputedly challan has been submitted before the competent Court. This Court vide order dated 29.6.2010 had stayed arrest of the petitioner.
In the facts and circumstances of the present case, present petition is allowed with the direction that petitioner shall appear before the Magistrate on 21.2.2011 and shall be released on bail on furnishing his personal bond and surety bond to the satisfaction of the Magistrate for an offence under Section 307 IPC, which was added later on during the investigation.
