Prayer in the present petition is for grant of pre-arrest bail to the petitioner in FIR No. 48 dated 12.4.2011, registered under Section 420, 465, 467, 468, 120-B IPC at Police Station Chamkaur Sahib, District Rupnagar.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the dispute regarding mutation proceedings on the basis of alleged forged will were pending when the present FIR was got registered. The petitioner was merely a scribe of the Will. He had mentioned the facts stated by the parties. He is not the beneficiary. It was submitted that in terms of order passed by this court on 29.4.2011, the petitioner has already joined investigation.
The fact of petitioner's joining the investigation has not been disputed by learned counsel for the State.
After hearing learned counsel for the parties and considering the aforesaid facts, in my opinion, the interim order dated 29.4.2011 vide which the petitioner was granted pre-arrest bail deserves to be made absolute. Ordered accordingly.
The present petition stands disposed of.
