Present petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking quashing of FIR No.191 dated 22.12.2010, registered at Police Station Division No.1, Jalandhar, under Sections 307, 323, 324, 148, 149 IPC.

Present FIR was lodged on the statement made by Pawan Kumar. In the occurrence Pawan Kumar – respondent No.2 and Yogesh Sondhi – respondent No.3 were injured. They are present in Court. They have been identified by ASI Jagdish Kumar of PS Division No.1, Jalandhar, who has come to assist the Counsel for the State.

Counsel for the State submits that the investigating agency has

verified the factum of compromise and they are satisfied that the same indeed has been arrived at between the parties. He further submits that taking into consideration the compromise, the cancellation report shall be submitted in the concerned trial Court within one month from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order.

As and when cancellation report is submitted by the police on the basis of aforesaid compromise, the trial court shall verify the factum of compromise and after considering the ratio of law laid down in Kulwinder Singh and others v. State of Punjab and another 2007(3) RCR (Criminal) 1052 may act in accordance with the provisions of law.
