This is an application seeking anticipatory bail in case FIR No.75 dated 2.5.2011 under Section 395 of the Indian Penal Code, Police Station City Sadar Fazilka, District Ferozepur.
Learned counsel for the petitioner states that petitioner was on regular bail, however, he could not appear before the trial Court on 23.3.2011 because of Jat agitation and stoppage of trains. Learned counsel further states that petitioner shall surrender/appear before the learned trial Court within 10 days and shall move proper application explaining the reasons for not appearing on the date fixed i.e. 23.3.2011 in the light of judgment passed by this Court in the matter of Bhupinder
Singh Chhabra Vs. State of Punjab and another CRM-M 770 of 2011
decided on 1.2.2011 , therefore, he may be permitted to withdraw this petition.
