In review application No.73-C of 2009 in RSA No.3729 of 2008 filed by the petitioners, this Court vide order dated 19.08.2010 directed both the parties to maintain status quo with regard to Khasra No.1281. The petitioners have alleged in the instant contempt petition that in violation of the said status quo order, respondents started raising construction in the land in dispute and raised boundary wall to the height of 5 to 8 feet. Petitioners still apprehended that respondents would raise further construction in violation of status quo order of this Court in future also.
I have heard learned counsel for the petitioners and perused the case file.
Learned counsel for the petitioners vehemently contended that respondents have raised construction in the land in dispute in violation of status quo order dated 19.08.2010 and, therefore, local commissioner be appointed to demarcate the suit land and also to report about the age of the construction raised therein.
I have carefully considered the aforesaid contention.

Review application No.73-C of 2009 in RSA No.3729 of 2008 in which the status quo order dated 19.08.2010 was passed has since been dismissed vide separate order passed today. Consequently, it would be futile to proceed with the instant contempt petition.
Dismissed.
