Keeping in view the nature of relief claimed and with the consent of learned counsel for the parties, this petition is being disposed of at the motion stage itself.

The petitioners are working as Secretaries, Grade-A in Kurukshetra Central Cooperative Bank Ltd. Respondent no.2 has notified Haryana State Central Cooperative Banks' Staff Service (Common Cadre) Rules, 1975 2^nd Amendment Rules, 2009 in exercise of the powers conferred under Section 37 of the Haryana Cooperative Societies Act, 1984. These rules have been notified in compliance to the order dated 30.7.2007 passed by this Court in CWP no. 11346 of 2007. The short grievance of the petitioners is that under the amended rules a new seniority list is to be notified, whereas the old seniority list is being acted upon. Petitioners have served a legal notice (Annexure P-10) in this respect but no decision has been taken thereon till date.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners would be satisfied, if, respondents are directed to take decision on the legal notice served by the petitioner, referred to above.

In view of the above, this petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent no.2 to take decision on the legal notice served by the petitioners within a period of three months from the date certified copy of this order is served upon the said respondent. Needless to say that in the event the claim of the petitioners is to be rejected, the same shall be by a reasoned and speaking order.
