(1). Reply filed by way of short affidavit on behalf of respondent NO.2 is taken on record, wherein it is, inter alia, stated that the deceased husband of the petitioner has been exempted from passing the Departmental Examination of Accounts w.e.f. 22.03.1996 and consequential benefits shall now be granted to the petitioner after fixing the pay in the scale of Rs.10025-15100.

(2). In view of the above-stated stand taken by the respondents, this writ petition is disposed of as having become infructuous, however, with a direction that the necessary consequential monetary benefits shall be released to the petitioner within a period of three months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
