Mr. R.D. Sharma, D.A.G., Haryana has been asked to accept notice on behalf of respondents.

Keeping in view the nature of relief claimed and with the consent of learned counsel for the parties, this petition is being disposed of at the motion stage itself.

The petitioner was working in the District Rural Development Agency, Fatehabad. Initially she was appointed as Craft Teacher in Panchayat Samities on ad hoc basis for a period of six months through Employment Exchange on 16.11.1970. It is stated that services of the petitioner were extended from time to time and her services were regularized on 10.12.1978 w.e.f. 31.3.1978. The petitioner was, thereafter, adjusted in the D.R.D.A in the year 1995. Petitioner has retired from service on 31.1.2010. The grievance of the petitioner is that she has not been paid pension and has not been treated as regular Govt. employee. Petitioner served a legal notice (Annexure P-12) in this regard but no decision has been taken thereon till date.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner would be satisfied, if, respondents are directed to take decision on the legal notice served by her, referred to above.

In view of the above, this petition is disposed of with a direction to the Director, D.R.D.A, Haryana to take decision on the legal notice served by the petitioner, within a period of two months from the date certified copy of this order is served upon the said respondent. Needless to say that in the event the claim of the petitioner is to be rejected, the same shall be by a reasoned and speaking order.
