Umed Singh Vs State of Haryana and Ors.

The petitioner, who is a life convict and is confined in District Jail, Narnaul, has filed this petition for issuing directions to the respondents to release him on parole for the purpose of house repair, under the provisions of Section Section 3 (1) (d) of the Haryana Good Conduct Prisoners (Temporary Release) Act, 1988.

After arguing for some time, learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner may be permitted to withdraw this petition with liberty to file a fresh detailed application before the appropriate authority for grant of parole, after annexing the certificate of the Gram Panchayat with the application.

Dismissed as withdrawn with the aforesaid liberty.
