This petition has been filed under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure for grant of anticipatory bail in case FIR No. 830 dated 7.9.2010, under Sections 3 / 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act 1961 at Police Station City Karnal.
While issuing notice of motion, the following order was passed by this Court on 25.11.2010:-
“ Notice of motion for 6.12.2010.
In the meantime, in the event of arrest, the
Criminal Misc. No.M34572 of 2010(O&M) -2-
petitioner be admitted to interim bail subject to the satisfaction of the Arresting Officer. He shall abide by the conditions envisaged under Section 438 (2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
List along with CRM-M No.32117 of 2010.”
Learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Kartar Singh, has submitted that the petitioner has joined investigation in terms of the order reproduced above.
Accordingly, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this petition is allowed and the interim bail granting vide order dated 25.11.2010 is made absolute.
