A sum of 15 Lacs was drawn from the bank account of the complainant-Dinesh Kasana. The petitioner was the driver of the complainant-Dinesh Kasana. The role attributed to him is that he removed a cheque leaf from the cheque book of the complainant and misused the said leaf by opening another account in the name of Rakesh Kumar. A sum of 15 Lacs was drawn from the bank account of complainant-Dinesh Kasana and transferred in the account of Rakesh Kumar. This was done by forging the signatures of the complainant on the cheque leaf that had been removed from the cheque book of the complainant. The petitioner is an accused in the case along with Rambir, Bhagat Singh and Kiran Pal. The trial in the case is likely to take time. The case is triable by the Magistrate of the Ist Class.
