Petitioner has filed this petition under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure for grant of anticipatory bail in case FIR No.150 dated 13.8.2010, under Sections 406/498-A of Indian Penal Code, registered at Police Station Sadar, District Ludhiana.
At the time of issuance of notice of motion on 1.9.2010, the following order was passed by this Court :-
"Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is the wife of the elder brother of the husband of the complainant. Petitioner is residing separately with her family.
Notice of motion for 30.9.2010.

In the meantime, in the event of arrest, the petitioner be admitted to interim bail subject to the satisfaction of the Arresting Officer. She shall abide by the conditions envisaged under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.”
Learned State counsel, who is assisted by ASI Balwinder Singh, has submitted that in terms of the above order the petitioner has joined investigation.
Accordingly, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the
case, the interim bail granted by this Court on 1.9.2010 is made absolute.
The petition stands disposed of accordingly.
