In pursuance to the order dated 01.09.2010 passed by this Court, reply by way of short affidavit of Mr. Sanjiv Gupta, IPS, Additional Director General of Police, Crime Punjab, Chandigarh has been filed in Court today. The same is taken on record.
In para 2 of the aforesaid reply, it is clarified that the order dated 09.08.2010 passed by this Court was brought to the notice of DGP,

Punjab vide office note dated 13.08.2010 which is attached as R1 and it was in pursuance of the approval of DGP/Punjab, SSP, Ferozepur was directed to file reply on behalf of all concerned after getting the same approved from the office. It is further stated that the reports qua registration of cases were received from SSP, SAS Nagar and SSP, Fatehgarh Sahib and consolidated affidavit of SSP, Ferozepur on behalf of DGP, Punjab was received and the same was approved by DGP, Punjab on 30.08.2010.
In view of above, no further order is called for.
Disposed of accordingly.
