The present petition filed under Section 439 Cr.P.C. is for grant of regular bail to the petitioners in case FIR No.143, dated 5.10.2009, under Sections 18, 61, 85 of NDPS Act, registered at Police Station Ahmedgarh, District Sangrur.
Heard.
Learned counsel for the petitioners requests for withdrawal of this petition, at this stage.
Dismissed as withdrawn, at this stage.
However, it has been contended that petitioners are continuing in custody since 5.10.2009 and trial has not been concluded so far. It has further been contended that police officials are deliberately avoiding the appearance.
Hence, trial Court is directed to expedite the trial and take the sane on day-to-day basis and efforts be made to conclude the same within six months from the next date of hearing.
Registry is directed to send copy of this order to learned trial Court for compliance.
