Petitioner has filed this petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for issuance of directions to respondent No.1 to get the matter investigated from some Independent Agency or by any Gazetted Officer not below the rank of Superintendent of Police.
Notice of motion was issued in this case. The respondents have filed the reply by way of an affidavit of Deputy Superintendent of Police, Samrala alongwith report, regarding the investigation conducted by Deputy Superintendent of Police. The conclusion of the report reads as under:-
“On investigating the complaint, the documentary evidence along with the investigation conducted from my own sources, I came to the conclusion that the death of the girl took place on 07.07.2009 due to suddenly falling severely ill & diarrhea and vomiting. Her body was

cremated at her parental village in the presence of heirs and relatives and other respectable members of Village Hiyadpur. Accused Balbir Singh, Santosh Rani and Others had no role in the death of girl Ekta, rather, they gave all sorts of medical aid to save her life. So all the allegations levelled in the complaint are false and baseless. So the present complaint is recommended to be disposed off/filed.”
It has been further stated in the preliminary submissions of the reply that the matter was got inquired by Punjab State Human Rights Commission, Chandigarh from Senior Superintendent of Police, Khanna and the allegations levelled by the petitioner were found to be false.
Thus, the matter has been duly enquired into and it was found that Ekta had died a natural death. In these circumstances, no further interference by this Court is called for.
Petition stands disposed of accordingly.
