The petitioner has sought transfer of eviction petition, pending in the Court of Rent Controller, Nakodar, on the ground that the landlord had proclaimed that the Judge assured him that the case would be decided in his favour.
The District Judge, Jalandhar, had dismissed the application for transfer of the eviction petition holding that such an assertion has been made only to prolong the proceedings and the allegations are of general and vague in nature, which are not sufficient to transfer the eviction petition.
Hence, no interference is warranted in the present revision petition and the same is hereby dismissed, in limine.
