Petitioner has filed petition in the Court of Guardian Judge (Civil Judge (Senior Division), Ludhiana) under the Hindu Minority and Guardianship Act and the Guardian and Wards Act, against his wife Baljit Kaur – respondent, seeking custody of the minor child.
Petitioner by way of instant revision petition has invoked jurisdiction of this Court under Article 227 of the Constitution of India seeking direction to the Guardian Judge to decide the aforesaid petition within a period of one month and also to decide application filed on 14.01.2008 for interim custody of the minor child.

I have heard learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the
case file.
Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petition is now fixed before the Guardian Judge for 08.09.2010, for hearing on application moved by the respondent for summary disposal of the petition moved by the petitioner before the Guardian Court.
Keeping in view all the circumstances including the history of the case, as detailed in the revision petition, the instant revision petition is disposed of by directing the Guardian Judge to dispose of the petitioner's application for interim custody of the minor child within three months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order and also to dispose of the main petition as expeditiously as possible.
